Sales engineer thermoforming market

Functie

  • Develop and implement technical sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer satisfaction in the thermoforming market, with a focus on automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of sales strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers, addressing their needs and concerns, and identifying opportunities for automation solutions in their thermoforming processes.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market needs, and use this knowledge to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Create and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions to customers and internal stakeholders, highlighting the benefits and unique selling points of our automation solutions.
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights, influencing product roadmaps and ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of the thermoforming industry.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as other agents, to ensure effective sales strategies and customer support.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, monitoring and analysing sales performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards, and adhere to ethical and professional standards in all customer interactions.

Jouw profiel

  • You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Preferably 5 years of experience in technical sales within the thermoforming industry, with a focus on food packaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
  • Fluency in English is essential, with additional languages (German, Spanish) desirable.
  • Willingness to travel internationally, as required.
