Robert Half is currently looking for a logistics officer (M/W/X) for a permanent contract.

Our client is an international company producing Bio-Ethanol.

As logistics officer, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Planning of deliveries and coordination with supplying terminals
• Road and rail logistics including detailed understanding of the terms and conditions of each trade
• Maritime logistics deliveries including detailed understanding of the terms and conditions of each trade
• Delivery documentation including contact with third-party superintendents and loading terminals
• Invoicing and payment including a detailed understanding of VAT
• Customs and excise exposures related to alcohol movements
• Ability to handle all sustainability data related to the deliveries, including entry into the relevant national databases
• Fluency in the relevant operating systems used by the group

The requested qualifications for this logistics officer position include:

• Relevant bachelor or master degree in international commerce/business or logistics
• Fluency in English and French is required
• Team spirit, willing to integrate in a team
• Flexibility
• A couple of years professional experience is welcome, but not a must
• A willingness to engage confidently with colleagues, suppliers, customers and third-party terminals
• Computer literacy including MS Excel
• Attention to detail
• A proactive attitude and readiness to think on one's feet
