Group sales director

Functie

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the market, customers, and competition in the current set up of the sales organization to create a Swot analyses and action plan.
  • Assess the current state of the sales organization, including the sales structure, sales processes, sales team performance, and sales targets.
  • Manage the overall sales budget and track expenses to ensure that they are in line with company goals.
  • Ensure that the sales team is equipped with the necessary tools and resources to effectively sell company products and services.
  • Provide coaching and support to the sales team as needed to improve performance.
  • Develop and implement sales policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Propose a new sales growth strategy and organizational set up that will address the current challenges and provide a future-proof growth solution for the organization.
  • Develop a roadmap for implementing the new sales structure, including the necessary training and support for the current sales team.
  • Oversee the implementation of the new sales strategy and organizational set up.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team to ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to effectively execute the new strategy.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of the sales team and the effectiveness of the new sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with other members of the management team to ensure alignment between the sales strategy and the overall business strategy.
  • Align the proposed business model with the operational structure and supporting services.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders as needed.

Jouw profiel

  • Master degree in (Chemical) Business and proven track record in sales positions in preferable Chemical or hard Industry.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales management or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the management team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing change and leading teams through transitions.
