In our own IT department (Department 05 - Information and Communication Technology and Medical Technology / IKMT) and in the computer centers, all IT tasks for clinical and business applications and also IT aspects from the entire environment of research & teaching, from technical process analysis to strategic planning, implementation and development to operation are covered.


For the D05-IKMT / D05.1 Business Management Systems we are looking for a

IT Organizer (m/f/d) IT Service Management

As part of your job, you will be involved in the introduction, further development and support of our service management system and change management processes and will help to set up the IT service catalog and SLAs. You will analyze the requirements and design the necessary changes.

Your area of responsibility

  • Independent introduction, further development and support of projects and IT applications in the service portal, service management and change request management environment
  • Requirements recording and analysis as well as process design and implementation, coordination of tests, training and go-lives
  • Taking on the interface function between specialist departments and IT
  • Support our organization in carrying out the service management processes in practice. To this end, you are the contact person for all levels of the University Hospital
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer through communication with our 1st-/ 2nd-level support teams
  • Participation in projects and/or taking over the project management of (sub-) projects with different focal points
  • Support and advice in process management

Requirements and knowledge:

  • Completed training as a computer scientist (university of applied sciences) or completed training as an IT specialist or several years of relevant professional experience
  • Significant experience with IT service management systems and change request management
  • Knowledge of the use of IT systems for ticket management (OTRS) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of ITIL is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience with SAP software and project experience are an advantage
  • A high degree of customer and service orientation as well as a competent and friendly demeanor
  • An analytical mindset and an independent, solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong communicator, reliable, resilient and team-oriented personality

Remuneration is according to TV-L in pay group 11, taking into account all previous periods.
