Head of Supply Chain Network Design & Logistics – ETEX (Closed)

www.etexgroup.com Role purpose Deliver tangible business results in terms of lead-time, inventory, and Logistics costs for example through optimization of Material and Information flows from suppliers to final customer in strict compliance with Etex Supply Chain strategy & safety. Key responsibilities Strategy

Member of SC Council, contributes to Etex Supply Chain strategy and its deployment in divisions in line with divisions strategy

Define total cost of ownership, cost to serve model with divisions/regions

Leads creation process & methodology of Outbound & Inbound Material SC flow strategy to define models, partners and standards, SLAs in partnership with Commercial, Purchasing and SC Planning to be used by SC when deploying Divisional Strategy

Leads process, methodology and solutions as well as modelling to conduct extended value stream analysis to define existing SCM costs and lead-time in network highlight opportunities to optimise and contribute to sourcing decisions and CI activities

Leads relationship with Transport & Warehousing partners (4PL, 3PLs) by providing vision and expectations of types of services and service level expected by Etex for management of flows on behalf of Etex Divisions/Regions in collaboration with Purchasing Transport & Warehousing Category Manager

Execution

Support deployment of best practices and standards to best manage flows in safe manner and according to Etex SC Strategy (Factory level, Warehouses, layout, handling equipment)

Provides ad hoc support and guidance to SC Divisional Leads for major network design/optimisation projects (Global Foot print design…)

Process Owner for designing and deploying harmonised wow in material flow, handling (including packaging) and storing (organisation, visual flow management, equipment and IT systems)

Ensure Divisions are compliant with Etex Standards in Material Flows Management and Design in plants and across network

Methodology and Tools

Define EVS excellence approach and ensure accurate processes and tools to support it (Network Modelling Tool, Involvement in New product introduction process, material handling equipment, labelling, packaging)

Coordinate requirements in Network modelling design and/or optimisation with Freight partners as part of their portfolio of service offering

Identify, define and select adequate tools, solutions for managing flow: TMS, WMS and layout design, EVSM, Network modelling, Load optimiser... Work closely with Head of SC BPM & Solutions

Identify best practices and enable sharing and deployment

Management and organization

Ensures Divisional SC organization and resources are consistent with strategy and policy

Animate, functionally, the Divisions/Regions network of Logistics Leaders

Animate Safety in SC initiatives, track and monitor performance, lessons learned and wow improvement to mitigate risk

Performance management

Monitors and tracks EVS performances at Divisional level, by Product Lines and performs reviews as necessary

Issues monthly activity report (Network Performance related KPIs: Logistics Costs, Safety in SC, Stock accuracy, CO2/CSR...)

Profile

Master degree or equivalent experience (10 years) required

Production/Transport and logistics process leadership experience

APICS certification (ideally CSCP or CPIM) or similar (ISM, CSCMP, ASTL, ISCEA)

Lean training / Extended Value Stream Mapping.

Physical flow expertise, good understanding of physical flow modelling, packaging, 3PL management, distribution / warehouse network design

Data management to feed EVS design activities

Production Excellence and Lean knowledge related to EVSM

Familiar with Control tower management and use of adequate technology for network planning and tracking (End to end visibility)
