Sales Director, Public Sector (EU)

The Sales Director employs a blend of strategic vision, market growth and informal leadership skills to drive revenue growth and forge client relationships, navigates the complex business landscape of the EU and capitalises on emerging opportunities. Spearheading strategic prospecting and relationship-building You identify and qualify key leads, potential buyers and client relationships, by establishing a sales plan per EU sector including fields of play, alliances required and opportunities. You support and advise the EU Account Lead and the EU Market Lead on the overall strategic direction and strategy for the EU account. You align with subject matter experts in different geographies to develop successful proposals and establish qualified account teams. You support marketing initiatives and attend relevant conferences or events.to position the consultancy in the EU public market and to target decision makers for buying decision. You build and maintain relationships with alliance partners, inside and outside of existing framework contracts or existing collaborations. Shaping opportunities within a complex environment You bring several years (10+) of experience in dealing with the EU and feel familiar with the way of working in this professional environment. You spent the largest part of your recent career in a consultancy or similar professional services organisation, ideally of international scale and cooperating with different geographies. You have negotiated and successfully reeled in several large framework contracts, involving external partners and building internal coalitions across geographies. You find energy in formulating innovative sales strategies and like to focus on business development within new and existing client accounts. You speak fluent English and can adapt your communication style to different types of audiences. Proficiency in French and/or Spanish and/or German is an advantage.
