Job Summary:

The Warehouse Lead assists in the day to day running of the warehouse to include directing the work of other Warehouse Associates. The Warehouse Lead may also assist the Warehouse Supervisor with special projects and customer relations.

Responsibilities:

· Assist management to organize deliveries and receive shipments

· Assist management in the accuracy of orders being shipped and/or received

· Receive and load orders from buyers into the system

· Coordinate pickups and deliveries

· Coordinate inventory counts and items availability as instructed by supervisor

· Managing inventory and associating purchasing

· Coordinate communication with customers

· Assist management with e-filing of orders and documents

· Print pack slips for orders deliveries and/or BOL for shipments

· Train and manage warehouse employees

· Perform all duties of a Warehouse Associate when needed

· Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment

· Assist truck driver to make deliveries and transfers if necessary.

· Direct the necessary daily activities to ensure a safe working environment for all employees

· Ensure company policies are communicated, applied, and enforced (i.e., operational, safety, administrative, etc.)

Qualifications:

· High acuity for attention to Detail

· Ability to communicate both orally and in writing with other team members, supervisors & customers

· Must be timely and work efficiently throughout the day

· Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task

· Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures

· Good organizational & time management skills

· Must be comfortable in an active warehouse

· 3+ years previous warehouse experience

· Previous inventory control experience preferred

· Must be able to drive a forklift

· Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs

· Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to learn inventory software

· Box truck driving experience preferred

Carts, forklift truck, pallet jack, strapping/wrapping machine, personal computer.

• De logistieke activiteiten bij ontvangst, verzending en levering coördineren en controleren
• Het onderhoud van een opslagzone en het materieel controleren
• Interne of externe klanten informeren over de behandeling en opvolging van orders
• De bevoorrading organiseren en beheren (controle en opvolging van het verbruik, bestellingen, ...)
