Hospital Account Manager - Infectiology - Flanders


  • As Key Account Manager - Hospital, you will manage and develop the portfolio of hospital customers in Flanders to maximise opportunities for the product's portfolio.

Our client is a Belgian Pharmaceutical company active on the international level. They have a portfolio of Rx products with a multiplicity of application in various Therapeutic era.

In order to sustain their commercial growth in Belgium - they are currently looking to recruit a new Hospital Key Account Manager in Flanders.


As the successful Hospital Key Account Manager - Infectiology, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Define a business plan for your sector and translate it into concrete actions.

  • Focus on Flanders, you develop your actions accordingly.

  • Analyse the results of your Business plan and implement corrective actions.

  • Call on specialist physicians in hospitals to represent and promote our product range

  • Identify development opportunities and risks in order to enhance the growth of the results.
  • Provide optimal medical information and build partner relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Ensure excellent communication (relational and scientific) with KOL's

  • Organise & manage KOL's events (choice of speakers, logistics, ...) and meetings.

  • Participate in scientific congresses and symposia.
  • Collect and develop all field data and respect the administrative processes.

  • Details activities and report results with your line manager

  • Maintain and master your scientific knowledge regarding the products and its competitors.


As the successfull Hospital Key Account Manager - Infectiology, you have the following requirements:

  • At least a Master Degree (in Business field or Applied Sciences) or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience - at least 5 years - in a specialist hospital representative position.

  • Experience in infectious diseases and/or microbiology is a strong asset.

  • You stand out for your negotiation skills and charisma.

  • Excellent communicator, you easily develop your relational network for the expansion of your sector.
  • You are autonomous, dynamic and flexible and have a strong sense of priorities and responsibilities.

  • Fluent in Dutch - Strong knowledge of French & English is required.

  • based in Flanders or Brussels and willing to travel daily on the assigned territory
